Kenya Purple Tea
Details
Kenyan Purple Tea: Rare. Vibrant. Naturally Uplifting.
Kenyan Purple Tea is one of the world’s rarest teas born from a unique tea varietal that develops a deep purple leaf rich in natural antioxidants. Grown high in the Kenyan mountains by small family farms, this tea carries the spirit of innovation, resilience, and the rich earth it comes from.
The flavor is delicate and refreshing, with soft berry notes, a gentle earthiness, and a clean, bright finish. Lightly caffeinated, it offers a calm, steady energy rather than a rush, the kind of clarity that supports your stillness practice, creativity, or an intentional pause in your day.
As it brews, watch its beautiful golden-violet hue bloom in your cup, a reminder of nature’s quiet brilliance.

How to Brew Kenyan Purple Tea
1. Heat your water
-
Use hot but not boiling water: 175–185°F (80–85°C)
(Boiling water can make it taste flat or overly earthy.)
2. Measure your tea
-
Use 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf purple tea per 8 oz cup.
3. Steep gently
-
Steep for 2–3 minutes.
→ Shorter = lighter, more floral
→ Longer = deeper, more berry-forward
4. Taste and adjust
If you want more strength, add more leaf instead of extending the steep time.
5. Re-steep (recommended!)
Purple tea does beautifully on multiple infusions.
-
2–3 steeps are typical.
-
Increase steeping time by 30–45 seconds each round.
Optional Enhancements
-
Ice it: Brew double strength and pour over ice for a refreshing, subtly fruity iced tea.
-
Add lemon: A squeeze of lemon transforms the tea into a beautiful pink-violet color due to natural anthocyanin.
A rare tea for the moments when you want to nourish your body, brighten your spirit, and return to yourself — one mindful sip at a time.
